Intention: Cultivate grounded energy within every moment of life, embody this energy, even when you soar.



            Life has a way, even amidst the chaos of it all, to be right on time. Your breath, purpose, calling, and ascension seem to align in such a way. With ease and grace, the award is cultivated groundedness, the divine balancing act between connection and flow. We have the opportunity to surrender to the cycle of life, truly of breath- prana flowing through our very vessels. We are blessed with the endless possibilities, the wonder, when we relinquish the small minded controls on our experiences. 

            How does one relinquish the small minded controls on our experiences? One could say it's as EASY as a pose- sukhasana. Take this moment, or plan for it within the next 1 hour, to give yourself 5 minutes of ease and grace. YOU DESERVE. Find a quiet, inviting space for you to surrender and be at ease. Tuning into your breath, finding yourself- mind, body and spirit, still enough to embody the breeze over a blade of grass. What sensations does this stir up within you? 

Dancing into the darkness of our still spirits- digging deeper, newness erupts divulging unfathomable. Shifting from stillness, churning around the clock of time, transforming sukhasana with ease-- flowing, still tuned in but noticing where the ebbs flowed from connection. Flowing with the waters of the fountain of youth, allow this power to exude from your spirit. Connecting with the earth and the sky, know all you are destined occurs in divine timing.


Balancing through connection to the earth and flowing with your breath, you are gifted with reminders within this movement that each experience may be different, but you have perfectly prepared for this moment. What has practicing traveling beyond your breath offered you when times get rough? Do you hold your breath and freeze? Or continuing your energy’s journey with your continued breath? Allow your greatness to flow within you, with every breath, every chance you have to sit easy- even if the only easy aspect is the pose itself. You are blessed with a gift- the gift of being in your own body-- experiencing life as your own.

Asana of the Month:



Things to know about sukhasana: Even though Sukhasana is one the easiest meditation poses, you will be surprised to know that retaining it for a longer duration is difficult. Difficult because in this posture the weight of the entire body is supported by the buttocks which give the body little space for support.
Benefits of sukhasana: Gradually strengthens muscles of the back and improves body posture. Being a meditative pose it has relaxing effects on mind and body. Works as a preparatory pose for more difficult meditative poses. Builds physical and mental balance. Helpful in reducing stress and anxiety. Excellent for people having a stiff body. Creates flexibility in ankle, knee and hip joints. Improves concentration for achieving an effective meditation practice
How to “Easy Pose”: Sit on your bottom, pulling the flesh of your hips from underneath you, supporting the space between your sitz bones and your tailbone. Bend the left leg and place the left foot beneath the right thigh. Similarly, bend the right leg and place the right foot beneath the left thigh. Rest the outer edge of your feet on the floor. Adjust the body and legs to get comfortable in the pose. The head, neck and spine relaxed and in alignment. Place the palms on the knees or thighs. Keep the shoulder relaxed and elbows a bit bent. Close your eyes and relax the whole body, take slow and deep breaths. Feel each and every breath moving in and out of the body. Practice for a minute or less if you feel discomfort. Practice twice by interchanging the position of the legs.

This offering is part of the Divinity Series: Yoga and meditation series focused on tapping into the divinity within us all.[$21] January 13 & January 27 @ 8:15pm [zoom]: Reiki Sound Bath: offered biweekly on Wednesday virtual healing bath of sound and reiki. Simple Reiki practice of counterclockwise and clockwise bowl activation with reiki intention and focus by Tiana, Reiki Master and Teacher. Beginning with intention, if you feel called to share to be amplified with the collective and a review of collective chakra balancing, messages and downloads will be shared at the end of this session. [$10] January 21 @ 8pm [zoom]: Divine Masculine (fast and bright): third Thursday- music, energy and intention will be focused on harnessing the power of the masculine energy within ourselves. [$21] January 23 @ 9:30am-1pm [zoom]: Virtual Chakra Retreat: Nourishing specific and individual chakra centers within our mind, body and spirit with the practices of: meditation, sound healing, movement, intention, mantra and journaling. This workshop is monthly, on the fourth Saturdays from January to July 2021. The themed focus for January is Muladhara: Root Chakra. Wear something red! Bring a candle, pen, notebook, yoga mat, tea and a cup of water [be at your altar if this is a possibility]. Take breaks when needed. [$45] January 25 @ 8pm [zoom]: Divine Kundalini (smooth and balanced awakening):fourth Monday: connecting, balancing and ascending upwards our divine energy through Kundalini awakening. [$21]
